well, I thought I would go after a 'nassasin' mission, so I made a few changes and got an Auto Field-Maintenance Unit installed, having ready some of the posts here, I thought wow, these sound great.......so off I went to find my quarry, and what did you know they were waiting behind a USS...
I went in and ....stripe me pink (an yellow) they were in an anaconda...so I tried to make a few passes, and next thing I know I am just coasting in space with this very angry pilot looking for my cargo....check my screen see my thrusters are off-line. set the auto thinga majig going an nothing.....try again, and again....and WHAT...!!! no way it just won't work on thrusters...I can understand with FSD and Armour...but thrusters....this is just plain wrong....stuck in space with a hot date at the next star port...and no way to get there.
(there is no way she's gonna believe the old "I ran out of thrusters" gag!?)
come on FD, not even in the early Star Trek did they ever get stuck in space...they always had thrusters...ok, they may not have been perfect, but at least they were able to get to next planet (..and Kirk got his hot date)!
