Was doing a run with my hauler, full cargo hold, on route to station, I got interdicted. I did the usual when stopped in my hauler, full throttle and made a run for it. My contact list show a frieghter & a couple of eagles, not too close, and no messages from them as yet. All of a sudden I get a 'jettison cargo' message and a load of canisters appear on my contact list, so I think it was a command to the freighter and that was a drop from him....Im thinking 'typical, a full cargo hold and free stuff'...
I tried to supercruise but strangely cargo scoop was open...close scoop and hit cruise as I didn't want to stick around and be the next target of the pirates...as the cruise hit in, checked my hold an dI came to the sickening realisation that those canisters I saw were mine!!!!
Was not amused, costed me 30k of stuff, was just glad it didn't happen on the previous run, would have bankrupted me!. Just wondered if this had happened to anyone else and if its a bug or a feature??
