Nice auto lander got my hauler blown up. I decided to take a bio break on the one time the autolander decided not to work and I got blown up inside of goddard for trespassing which is just insane. Another bug for the books. So again I am broke. Just got enough to get the stupid hauler again and the auto lander only to have it blown up by a dad gum bug. just makes me wanna quit all over again. I can't seem to get ahead. Either it's getting killed by an ass by a planet, or a bug at a station always seems to be with a full payload and back to 1000 creds and a sidewinder lol. Just seems to be the circle of life and pointlessness.

That bites, but for the record no automatic vehicle system is supposed to replace you. If you get nudged by another ship (player or NPC) it doesn't work right and expects you to step in. By the same token, cruise control isn't a good reason to have a short nap behind the wheel.

This is just like the story that makes the rounds every year or so about the Stella Award winning winnebago owner who put the vehicle on cruise control at 70mph, left the drivers seat to go into the kitchen and make a sammich... And then sues the manufacturer when the vehicle crashes
A lot of modern day gamers are quite lazy and if anything takes the slightest skill or effort, they would rather automate it and watch.
