Auto landing on planets with slightly over 2G's does not seem to work.

My Beluga liner refuses to auto land on a planet that has just over 2G's. It tries to land, gets above the surface, then just hovers. I let it sit there for several minutes and just hovering. I tried multiple times at different spots on the planet. As soon as I went to a smaller planet, everything worked fine. Is this a known bug?

What colour is the disc showing the landing site?
Sometime, one of the small ships can auto-land even when the disc isn't blue, bit I those cases I've often found the landing site difficult to use with the SRV.

It is an option in Elite Odyssey

this sounds like a safety feature, at what g would you draw the line for the whale, i know manual landing in much higher g can be done carefully. note you can disable manual landing but still leave on docking which includes ground bases with that module. im just saying if i wrote the code for that module irl i would not want people trying crazy stunts with it better to have the pilot blame himself for two hard a landing than blame the module. Will it auto dock on ground bases of planets with high g i bet it wiil.
