Ship Builds & Load Outs Auto Tracking query.

Greetings all o7

I am looking to fit all auto tracking weapons on my Python 2 x large beams and 3 x Multicannons.. I have seen some old posts about auto tracking but could not find anything from recent days can anyone advise me does it work well any issues I should be aware of is it worth my time etc?

I know they are lowest DPS but my Python is a total tank so if I can just focus on flying and the guns get the job done I will be happy!

Lastly is overheating an issue? I am open to suggestions and appreciate any and all advice thank you kindly all!

I assume you're referring to turrets? if so yes the DPS is lower but I've medium turrets on a Python and they are very useful against small agile targets, turrets don't have the large DPS drop they had in earlier updates (40 - 50%) so they're a much more viable weapon.

I've fitted L5 rapid fire pulse turrets to my Python and they're really effective although they do generate a fair bit of heat, I've just engineered some L5 rapid fire m - cannon but I haven't had a chance to test them although from memory I think the DPS was around 30 (up about 50%)
