While it is fun overseeing the births of each dinosaur, I think it would be very convenient if the hatcheries could, after an expensive upgrade, load up and replace dinosaurs that have died in the park.
Perhaps the hatchery could be set to maintain a certain population of dinosaurs, and breed new dinosaurs whenever that population drops. This would be great for larger high-maintenance parks that have a stable income and can support regular production of dinosaurs. It'd also be be especially great in sandbox. Being able to set the desired population of dinosaurs of a certain type would would also make the hatchery menu a little more convenient for players who wish to produce multiple identical dinosaurs
