Autorun

There is a run toggle, and i presume you're aware of that. The reason there can't be an autorun is because you get tired running for too long and it disables running until you've recovered.

Are you referring to the "sprint" bind? Yes, I know about that one. The reason I'd like an autorun - or autojog perhaps more accurately :D - is thar I've had so many CZs where the last enemy goes AWOL I give up and run out of the zone for an Apex.

I suppose this could be mitigated by landing my ship or SRV nearby but... hey ho.

Or you could use your throttle to set your run speed, set up with centre zero you can even run backwards.

This is why I knew I wanted to use a controller for this part of the game. Sustained movement is pretty comfy with a thumbstick.

If you're sick of a CZ and you want to bail, face a wall, turn off your shield, pull out your L6 and kabloomy yourself. Grenades also work but then you might have to find an enclosed space. Then select return to Frontline.

Assuming you're not going in the CZ taxi, then land your ship out of range of turrets and go in in the SRV. You can even do the CZ in a SRV, which is good fun, if you are a competent driver. Alternately, park the SRV behind a building or somewhere its not likely to get hit by splash damage (resulting in a shameful run back to your ship), or, as some recommend, park it right where an enemy Vulture drops enemies (can be tricky to find the exact spot), resulting in one less spawn point for enemies, allowing you to control the map easier.

As noted, an autorun is kind of problematic. I presume you want it to run until you are tired, then slow to a walk while you recover, then automatically start running again?
