Average rollrcoaster statistics

Hi, didn`t tried this yet, but maybe you can help me. Can I create a rollercoaser with first half total madness filed with nausea and fear, and the other half just straight slow line with none of fear and nausea. Does this average out to acceptable rollecoaster that people will use, with normal fear and nausea?

if part of your coaster is too extreme and the rest is boring, it will be bad

if part of your coaster is a little extreme and the rest is all good, then its possible it could balance out with enough effort, but you will not have a great rating

it does not "average" out, as the nausea builds up and decays slowly, i.e. in a lagging fashion.

you can test this with a slightly nauseous pattern (say flat curves), followed by straight track. watch as the nausea slowly builds up over 6-8 curves, and slowly decays away on the straight.

the nausea data might then be averaged, somewhat, but the peak state has been over-weighted by the lagging function. this is of course exactly what happens to real people, so it makes sense.
