Aviary and Lagoon are canon in JP era.

Considering how it appeared in the previous game and promotional material for the new game, the JP/// Aviary is guaranteed to be in the Jurassic Park era for JWE2.

The lagoons are a bit of concern but when considering how marine reptiles and aquatic exhibits have been one of, if not the most highly requested/anticipated features for JWE2. I can’t imagine that Frontier would lock such a popular feature in only the JW era, especially since a Tylosaurus and JP aquarium played a significant role in Telltale's Jurassic Park: The Game.

Not sure why people keep treating this game like it's relevant to anything;
  • Even at best it was soft Canon.
  • References to it are extremely rare and typically vague.
  • Canon and other more recent soft Canon contradicts the story.
And even if this wasn't the case, as I recall, the view of the aquarium structure in JPtG wasn't particularly clear... in which case, basing anything on it would be probably be difficult.

Because the game has left a big impact on this franchise, to which we’re still feeling the effects of it to this day:

Mt. Sibo being the volcano's name and envenomating Troodon are the most prominent examples of Jurassic Park The Game's legacy, along with the references on the Masrani Global and DPG websites. Jurassic World Evolution even went so far as to have Troodon's Alpine skin based on the design from the game.

As far I can work out, the only part of JPTG's story that’s contradictory to canon, is the damage to the Visitor Center. Apart from that, there’s little else that’s contradictory.

But I digress, for a theoretical aquatic viewing attraction in the JP era, I was thinking more along the lines of a JP version of the Lagoon Viewing Stand.

Sorry, for me, being in any game does not make it cannon, soft or otherwise.

Cannon is either the books, JP & TLW:JP, or the 1st 2 movies. The last 3 movies, due to popularity have elevated somethings to cannon status.
