Aviary coming?

So, it turned out the leak was true, almost word by word.

I still don't know how to feel about it because this likely means no more updates/content until december.

But, on the bright side, there was recently a third installment from the leaker that mentioned FD to be working on ways to implement the Aviary...

Do you think that will be ready for Christmas? And what sense does it make to implement that and such things as Mt. Sibo now? Wouldn't this mean we won't see any more Nublar now?

While the gist of the leak thus far seems to be true, there are still clearly details that aren't concrete. Considering the leak is internal information, it is subject to change on the details whereas they can't really scrap the big picture sort of stuff. That out of the way, I am royally skeptical the aviary with be implemented or if it is its really not going to live up to its potential. What I suspect might be happening is some experimentation occurring internally, but I wouldn't expect to see this come to fruition any time soon.

Regarding Nublar and Mt. Sibo, I feel pretty confident in saying that the Sandbox portion of Nublar will be completely unaffected and the new Nublar area will have replayability similar Muerta East and the Tacano Research Facility. How far Frontier goes to showing an eruption scenario is up in the air, I definitely don't think there will be a lava threat, but if there is somehow then my hat is off to Frontier for the extra effort.

The trailer seemed to imply that volcanic gas is poisoning the dinos. There was a shot with an orange fog covering the ground that appeared to cause a Sino to collapse. This could just be a setup for the trailer, but if they're sneeking in fog weather with 1.8 it would be 2-birds with 2 stone. In the end, I think Sibo's eruption will be something spectacular on the horizon while your wrapping up the last mission on the new nublar map without any lava or pyroclastic flows on the map itself.
