Aviary Dlc

I present to you what would possibly be the best planet zoo pack: The Aviary Pack. It has been difficult to decide between the zillion species of birds, but that's how it stayed for me. Now I'm going to solve some things:

1: Why is so big?
I think if the birds are coming to Planet Zoo they will be the last Dlc, and if they go they need to go with glory and with a fantastic dlc, like in JWE1 with return to Jurassic Park Dlc

2: Why not cranes, shoebills, etc?
This pack is only based on typical flying birds, animals like grey-crowned cranes and shoebills can be included in other packs

3: What are the bases for this idea?
Is based on the community favourites, wishlist and probabilities

4: Why are 3 macaws?
Why not? They are the best bird bois

So that´s all, i hope you enjoy it and we hope for this to be real ^^

I a solid pack but i do think three macaws and four parrots are a bit too much. They take the spot for more variety like paradise birds, turacos, quetzal, curassow, etc..

Also waterfowl could also be added in other packs so i don't know if i would use them for this pack. Ducks, swans and geese could be introduced in other type of dlcs, they don't need aviaries (and actually the same can be argued for the pelican)

I think an old world vulture is also missing (like the griffon or the lammerguier). A king vulture (NW) would also be a nice addition to this.

And i prefer the andean condor and the snowy owl over the california condor and the barn owl but that's just preference.

The roster is good but it depends on Frontier actually adding birds like the secretary, the grey crowned crane, some stork and galliformes like the golden pheasant, the turkey and the cappercaillie in other packs and i don't really have much hope for that.

Pretty great pack overall. I'd replace the Mallard with something else, maybe the Mandarin Duck. I'm not sure how exotic Mallards are considered, but here in the US they're very common, and if you see one in a US zoo, it's most likely wild. I'd also add some of my personal preferences, like the Bearded Vulture, Hoatzin, and Great Blue Turaco. I feel like if Frontier decides to make one pack with flying birds and nothing else, it would have to be about this size to be satisfactory.

They seem to be exceptionally common in Europe: https://www.zootierliste.de/en/?klasse=2&ordnung=210&familie=21012&art=21102895

While I haven't seen any non-wild mallards in US zoos, their near-omnipresence crashing flamingo ponds is actually a good reason to want them in my eyes. Maybe not instead of a fancier duck, but I'd welcome them alongside or after the mandarin duck, wood duck, ringed teal, whatever. But I'd love to actually make my ponds more realistic in a less conventional way.

Getting off topic slightly, but on that note I'm dying for a second flamingo, either American or Chilean. While greater seems to be the most common species in Europe, it's the least common in the US (just barely "beating out" lesser). I'd love a smaller and more colorful species that actually represents what I see in zoos. It's not a hugely pressing issue, of course, but I think I've swung back around to hoping we get a flamingo for the anniversary animal that I don't actually expect us to get.

I would love an American Flamingo. I think its necessary for the game, most beautiful flamingo for me!

my take for giga pack idears is simple.
Its not really anything substantial.
Dont get me wrong, all pack idears are just that, idears, but an idear generally becomes the better the more dense it becomes, the more unnessecary stuff is cutted of.
This is especally the case when we know that what we should expect is a 4+1 or 7+1 pack. Meanwhile this is a 25 bird pack, which are more animals then we get habitat animals in a whole year (which are 22).
It also just doesnt tell me anything. What are the prioritys? Why are these guys here? Its easy to just slamm all the animals into a pack, but whats the order here? Whats actually nessecary, what should be prioritized, what should actually make for a realistic or fun pack? This is just a bunch of birds, without any meaning behind it.
I can also tell you 25 bird species, but without any realistic limits discussing the slots becomes meaningless.
Its much more interesting to see what makes the cut if you limit it down then just slam literally all the birds into one package thats larger then what we propaply will get in total.

A great, solid pack from my perspective, and I see that the Aviary Pack might be an expansion pack alike. However, species of three macaws and four parrots might be too much just as Mr. NachoB has said. I would choose one macaw, cockatoo, and parrot for each. For instance, Scarlet Macaw, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, and Rainbow Lorikeet are my must-have.

Speaking of waterfowl, a swan and a spoonbill is needed so I love the choice of Mute Swan and Roseate Spoonbill .But when it comes to the rest of them, I tend to choose two wetland and coastal bird for each. I'd like to keep Australian Pelican as well as Atlantic Puffin. Mallard would be replaced by Greater Bird of Paradise for more iconic representative of tropical birds, or Bali Myna to raise awareness of conservation issue.

Others are awesome. The only choice I want to change might be the bat species. Rodrigues Flying Fox might be the better option when it comes to iconic and conservation status.

Here are my wishlist for 20(16 flying+4 ground dwelling) species of an expansion pack and I'm looking forward for all of your opinions:

4. Toco Toucan/Rhinoceros Hornbill
