Aviary or fan favorites DLC?

Since it’s very probable we would get a NA pack in September I wanted to ask what are your opinions and cravings about the December pack?

Would you like it to be the Aviaries or maybe Fan favorites with 7 most requested mammals or maybe Threatened spiecies?

My guess for a NA pack are:

Moose
Cougar
Sea lion
Beaver

And I would love to see a Fan favorites pack with all the species that I really miss the most.

That's such a tough call. But because of the capybara, fan favorites. Though I want Aviaries more overall. But...capybara....why did you make this so hard

More signs like the cobra engine upgrade indicate birds particularly. It is on same engine version as JWE2 now apparently. And there will be a lot of them.

yep, same. North american animals would be great but theres a lot of other animals i'd rather we see, especially ones that need conservation attention

Any dlc will be welcomed. But whatever it is I do not want another 4 animal pack.

If we are talking about a bird pack with only 7/8 birds, I honestly prefer an endangered species pack. The fan favourites is a tricky one. Who decides which animals are the fan favourites?

I'd like to have and endangered species pack. As for me, I don't need aviaries and wouldn't use them, I guess.

I'd rather have 8 birds than none, but I agree about a "fan favourites" pack. There's no such thing as a "fan favourite", really, just statistically popular choices.

i don’t see a ‘fan favourite’ pack happening (at least until Frontier stops releasing new DLC. Fan favourite would just mean putting a lot of flagship animals into one pack.
I’d prefer endangered species or birds but expect that NA (4+1) is most likely.

But actually that would be a smart move from frontier, maybe not back to back, but tree kangaroos and some birds of paradise, bats, some kind of cuscus and we have a good deal.

I don't think there even are seven habitat species the whole community is united on. Maybe two or three.

I'll be happy to get Aviaries in any form, but ideally we get a full expansion with like 10-15 birds.

Moose and cougar I think are guaranteed for the NA pack. All others are up in the air, but prairie dogs, sea lions, and American alligator are all strong contenders. Honestly I'm expecting a build set for NA and then assuming we'll fill in the remaining animals in future packs.

But who knows, maybe Aviaries won't be ready by December and we'll get something we don't expect!

2. Preswalski's wild horse
3. Emu
4. Asian small-clawed otter
5. Capybara


These 5 are good because none of them can truly be a DLC star on their own (maybe the capybara and the Tasmanian devil), but in general they can't. Moose is another good choice but they can also represent a NA pack and/or a Europe/Eurasian pack

I'd say the capybara is the only animal on the list the majority of the community is actually united on. As much as I'd love the devil, emu, and the otter, they haven't always had the warm reception you'd expect. Not to mention that a lot of these potential species can be added to other themes;

- Tasmanian devil and Przewalski's horse in an Endangered Species pack.
- Capybara and otter in a "Tropical Aquatic Pack" (if the leaks are true, this isn't as ridiculous as it sounds).
- Emu in an Oceania Animal Pack or general bird pack.

Of all of them the emu is the one I expect to see the least while the capybara and devil are the ones I expect to see the most. Depending on how the leaks go, the otter probably won't make it in, but the horse is a wildcard depending on what themes Frontier approaches.
