PvP Avoiding a Cutter after an Interdiction.

Any cute, quick & easy, tricks to avoiding a Cutter after the interdiction? Oh. I’m in a T9.
Been playing in Open recently and the “enemy group” apparently likes to use Cutters with Frags and missiles it appears - all goes kind of fast as I frantically try to escape.

Got away from one or two (barely) when I boost turned into him, when he appears, and HW out.
Was destroyed once when I dropped out of SC and he dropped right on top of me. Was surprised and died fumbling with buttons.

Cutter is fast but not manuverable. Turn into it and HW seems like the best (only?) thing to do unless I am missing something clever?

if you build your t9 with some hull tank and MRPs you can try to go stealth (silent running) after the interdiction. use a heatsink - turn to your enemy - boost - load fsd for high jump. keep silent running. use another heatsink and jump whilst you are in silent running.
the enemy will not have any lock on you. will be confused and is not able to shoot missiles.
with this setup you dont need any shields. but you should have 1500 hull at least and 2 class 2 MRPS. couse they work together. the first takes 60% of a module damage, the second takes 60% of the 40% which are left.
modify internal moduls with shielded powerplant and fsd and even a wing will have a hard time to kill you.

thats a second tactic though. shieldless defense.
your method turn to enemy boost high jump is also ok.

T9 can't dodge our outrun anything, so it has no choice but to tank it.

I generally have a 5A prismatic with around 500mj, and decent resists. 2000+ hull, give or take, with Reactive bulkheads. Reinforced drives.

If players are around, I equip some MRPs, HRPs, and two size 4 banks. I can still haul a decent amount.

Full pips to SYS. Start dumping banks when they start shooting, or just before. Always submit to interdictions.

Edit to add: Silent running is just gonna get you killed here.

Don't know about it working in a T-9 or T-10 but I suggest a variation on what another poster has said, pop a heat-sink, get turned around and boost past your opponent going in the other direction. You will lose some shield but hopefully, by the time the Cutter turns around you will be far enough away to jump back into SC.

Hey Dude, honestly in my experience the best line of defence is to not get interdicted in the first place. I monitor scanners like a hawk, and have emergency drop set to a voice attack command. In the event of a successful interdiction, my method is boost towards the attacker FA-OFF whilst dumping heatsinks, charge a high wake and fit all cascade G5 reverbs to every hardpoints on the T9. (fire the torps if you manage to get 3km between you both)

If you are going down in flames, make sure to throw some heavy punches.
