Avoiding Interdiction Much easier on Xbox Controller than X52

been skipping the interdict game too. Just got tagged by a powerplay person took me out in 5 seconds in a T7. Sometimes I think leaving powerplay would make my life easier. They're always way better than normal pirates.

What i tend to do now with interdicting npcs is once i jump into a system i fly to fuel scoop range (assuming its scoopable) and point the rear towards the sun/star , decrease throttle to 0% and wait to see who jumps in ... if theres no threat then go on my way , if theres a threat i wait till he's almost on my 6 then throttle into the blue. Npc start the interdiction and usually (not always) gets caught up in the star and loses the interdiction.

Players are a different ball game and avoiding interdiction becomes somehwat problematic.

Absolutely easy with an Xbox controller. Especially when you don't invert the pitch axis. Matching up the escape vector is just like moving a mouse pointer.

Haven't tried expensive HOTAS but I tried other joysticks and in my experience, an Xbox controller is easier for just about everything in Elite. Obviously you will need to use lots of button combinations.
