I feel like the new Python mk2 ship kit (https://www.elitedangerous.com/store/product/python-mk-ii-spacehawk-pack) is a wasted opportunity.

There should be an AWACS module that goes with it - increasing sensor range and sharing the increased range with cmdrs in the wing. Maybe also increasing range in which silent running ships can be detected in.

No, Silent Running has been nerfed hard enough over the years.

If anything, certain engineering effects should be removed or reworked to allow the playstyle space to breath in an otherwise shield dominated meta.

Aside from that it sort of already exists for the most part. Ships can see which target a wingmate is locked onto, even beyond their sensor ranges. Its a default part of how the sensor suites we have work

If such a module was introduced how many seconds would it take before the builders of meta ships complain about the loss of a slot and want it built in to either the ship or some other module.
