If we're hoping for amazing app stuff like that, lets go all out...

How about pointing at the stars & being shown your ship, then pointing somewhere else and have it plan a route to get you there?

Nice idea but as far as I am aware the galaxy in ED isn't our actual galaxy - it just resembles it by size and shape. With some of the more well known star names thrown in for good measure.

Love it! And then a way to send that route to your ships nav system in game. You could plan your route at work, send it to your ship, then all you have to do when you get home is switch on, launch, and fly the route.

It doesn't have to be, the orientation will still be the same - and a lot of the known stars (from the catalogues) are in the same positions.

While at it, yes please to a live Universal Time on remaining missions (if not too contraversial)?
Ship / hull / repairs / loadouts and trading .. all station interfacing .. available basically ..

Would be great if, when landed, can leave chair, trade and get ship sorted for immediate take off on return to cockpit? pretty please??

(this IS a wishlist isn't it? :rolleyes:
