Well worth waiting 30 years for!! Pretty much everything I was hoping for. Just wish I had bought in during the KS campaign. :D

Welcome, Commander - glad you're enjoying it! I've been in since the beta and there's still nothing like kicking back, turning down the lights and spending an hour or so out amongst the stars. And like Ulysses said - it's only going to get better.

Thanks guys. I have been terribly addicted to the game since the day I bought it. Now if I can just stop long enough to order a better joystick than the piece of junk I'm using now I'll be set.
I have already been impressed with the updates that have come out in the short time I have had the game, so for sure, I'm looking forward to the game getting even better!!

Hi Byte. I was reading forum for 2 months and watching video reviews for different type of joysticks and stuff cmdr's are using in ED. Even well know cmdr Isinona (www.youtube.com/user/Isinona) that flies with FA-OFF (and is doing excelent) is using this entry level joystick + thruster (http://www.thrustmaster.com/products/tflight-hotas-x) that is priced arround 50 euro. I just got mine 2 days ago and for me (from mouse + keyboard) its like learning to walk again :) :) ...good luck :)

welcome! glad you're liking it.
I've been waiting for Wing Commander or something alike for 2 decades but then ED came along and I couldn't be happier!
