Awesome-looking Landable Body

I seriously don't think I've ever seen a landable planet/body that was as textured and uneven as this gem. I'd say this qualifies as a pretty cool discovery. Now I just need to find its elusive water geysers.

I've encountered a few of these on my travels...my favourite thing is to zip along the canyons as deep as possible (without crashing). Also landing at the bottom of a 6km deep canyon is pretty awesome.

It looks good; fyi, this is what ice canyons usually look like, it's not exceptional per se. Depends where the sunlight comes from, but those shades are how ice looks in the game.

True, but then again, among landable moons, things like this are probably about as rare if not considerably rarer than Earth-like worlds are, at least ones this mountainous. I just hope I can find the supposed water geysers the detailed surface scan suggests are there somewhere.

Ah, yes, very deep canyons aren't that common, that's for sure.

I had found a cute one too ;) IIRC, the highest peak was about 18km high or something, and 7-8km the deepest canyon.

I'm having to be really careful driving around this place, since there are tons of sheer cliffs and stuff; if I accidentally drove into one of these giant ~15km deep cracks I would be well and truly frakked. lol.

They are actually quite common, almost every rocky ice planet looks like that.

No, they definitely do not. lol. Most of them are uneven and have canyons and stuff, but most of them don't have canyons nearly 15 km deep and only 1.5km wide. This is definitely the exception by a wide margin, not the rule. At least in terms of degree. Sure there are probably plenty that are much better than this, but ones at least as mountainous as this certainly can't be said to be 'common'. At least not in any region of the galaxy I've been to recently.
