AX Conflict Zones in Odyssey

Has anyone else noticed that the Thargoids seem to do more damage in Odyssey than they do in Horizons?
In my opinion, tactically nothing has changed with the interceptors. With their dumb cold orb skills, they still can't hit you.
 
I'd be curious if they nerfed the ship's armour/strength etc. in Odyssey, given how susceptible they are to on-foot fire and people complaining about relatively small impacts causing ships to be destroyed.

Actually, the ability of on-foot fire to damage ships makes sense, otherwise players would just use ships to kill the ground forces all the time.

I haven't noticed any problems with collisions, plenty of Scouts have run into my shieldless Krait and not destroyed me. I just seem to be getting hit by way more Caustic missiles.
 
there is a fault that I do not see that they have corrected, when the thargoid generates the electromagnetic pulse, in oddysey it does not turn off the ship, it is not even necessary to activate the field neutralizer
