i just dipped my foot into AX and have built a starter python for scouts, but where can i find them? the conflict systems in 4.0 seem to be different, cant find any in HIP 23716 what makes sense when the story is not evolving for us...

Only the Live versions of Elite, EDH 4.0 and Odyssey 4.0 (both Live) will have the new narrative and CG's going forward. 3.8 go to Merope/Asterope for Tharg signal sources if you have 3.8 and want to fight Thargs. FDev made that change and announced it previously

In the Elite Launcher (I use Steam on PC) It lists two choices and VR for me. Legacy 3.8 and Live 4.0. So I start steam, then choose Elite Dangerous, then when the game launches I get the Frontier choices. Not sure if you use Steam, Epic or Frontier, or even if you are on PC, consoles only have 3.8, PC has both 3.8 and 4.0 clients.

I'm in the Witch Head Nebula area right now and there's plenty of Thargoid activity, I see "non human" signal sources in many systems and I'm constantly getting hyperdicted! Luckily for me as I'm usually running cargo it's the old non lethal hyperdictions.

Correct. But just in case of an Xbox account transfer to PC I had to double checki thought its obvious that i am on xbox, because this is the xbox forum
i wasnt active for a year or more and just came back to elite to find out console support got scratched. so i am going to upgrade my pc and make an account transfer, but right now its not possible because they stopped it...
i am in asterope right now, doing some scout hunting. here are plenty of goids. will eventually build a proper AX ship and start going after the big guys.

Yeah, that's the "traditional" style hyperdiction that's been going for a long time before this current war. I remember the first ever time it happened totally freaking me out!
Actually there are 3 systems currently under incursion in 3.8. I can't remember the systems right off hand, but if you go to a station look at the news feed and just click on where it has "Galnet" and that brings up GalNet, there it lists the 3 systems and states massive force in each. I can confirm there is AX CZ's there, no burning stations prior to tick.
Today found some AX CZ in Andecavi starsystem, both low, med and high intensivities.
But I didn't visit them, I don't know what's inside.

i can confirm the 3 systems mentioned in the galnet report at stations. one of them is "gandje", where i am stationed with my ax ships now.
