AX Weapons Should be Player Modifiable

All weapons of the AX classification (purchasable, human made, Anti-Thargoid weapons) should be modifiable using blueprints that players can apply themselves at any station with remote workshop access

The modifications available should allow you to make them more effective against Thargoids, balancing with guardian weapons

It would be nice if there were engaging, well written mission threads you needed to do before unlocking the player blueprints, but that's probably wishful thinking
 
When guardian hybrid modules came out, frontier accidentally let the ability for them to be engineered slip through. When they disabled them they said something to the effect of "we do want them to be engineerable but not this early in the game"

Its likely frontier wants new engineers for the experimental modules in the game down the road.

So its coming, we just dont know when.
