I for one would welcome our Vorlons overlords.

Totally disagree. The fans have been begging him for more B5 for years, and he has far more lucrative irons in the fire if making money was his main goal.He created a show I love, but he's been milking the fans of that show for years.

Until a few years ago, I'd have hated the idea of a reboot. But now, I think the time feels right.
Making money isn't the same thing as milking fans.Have a look at the price of those B5 script books and coffee table books he was selling.
Totally this.B5 is a great show, not fired about this reboot buisiness though.
Give me new stories and plots intead pls, the big twists are out already they cant be reused and have as much suspense as it had the first time.
I´d rather have JMS make a deal with HBO and get some quality co-writers and have him as showrunner.
Two problems. So much of the back story and future story of the B5 universe is known, the scope for new stories is very limited - especially ones that will have any meaning to a wider audience. And JMS owns the movie rights, but Warner Brothers retain the TV rights. That's why he's making a film and not aTV series.B5 is a great show, not fired about this reboot buisiness though.

Forever a classic.
