Baby animals not eating?

Has anyone else had issues with juvenile animals starving, despite there being food present in the trough? Specifically I've been having this problem with the Nyala -- one of the poor little things actually starved to death. I saw it was hungry, but the keeper was there, filling both enrichment feeders and the food trough, so I assumed it would be fine. I was wrong. The juvenile Nyala simply didn't eat -- and it has happened to more than one of them. Most of my animals have been fed without a problem, and most of them eat the food they're given. But some of my baby Nyala simply can't seem to figure out how to eat the food that's there in their habitat. (I can't say whether it's happened to all of them, because I wouldn't notice if everything went smoothly -- but it's happened to at least 4 of them, including the one that died.) I managed to save some of them by moving them to the Quarantine until they had matured or were very close to maturing, so when I returned them to their habitat they were adults and then ate without a problem.
Is anyone else having a problem like this?

Hi CRStripe,

got the same issue with Ganges Croscs and those Goats with horns... So far 4 juvenils died. They were standing right next to (full) food. Also, my staff couldnt help there and the visitors are demonstrating because of it.. Unfortunatly you can not delete animals, that would have been better. 😑😂

I just started the second tutorial and the baby orangutans were starving, or sometimes dying of thirst - even when sitting right on top of the food, or at the lake.
After I saved the game and loaded it later, they ran directly to the next food/water source and ate/drank.
