Babylon 5: Into the Fire - abandoned 1999 space game

I played something back in the day... can't remember what 'I Found Her' I think it was. It was nice, but the lack of it being a triple A showed. It was a fan-made game if I remember right.

I've sure I've seen that footage before. It's a real shame that was never released. The only other B5 game I am aware of is I've found her.

With the possible return of B5 perhaps we might get a game tie in to go with it?

I remember how much I was looking forward to Into the Fire, original cast doing the voice acting, Christopher Franke score and the ability to rise up through the ranks...

It's an absolute travesty that this was cancelled back then - I never forgave Sierra, who, I'm extremely glad to say went bust about 2 years later. Horrible to think that, but if I remember correctly they cancelled it to move funds over to some kind of crappy WWF tie-in game...

The saddest part of all of it was that (according to jms) the voice acting that had already been recorded was this was the last time that the whole cast (including Andreas Katsulas, Rick Biggs, and Jeff Conaway who are sadly no longer with us) were "together" playing their roles. The voice files were all locked in Sierra's vaults and are now (presumably) lost forever.

Great find Darren. :)

Wow, that is very sad indeed :( I have to admit I had a bit of a cry when watching the B5 reunion at ComiCon last year. You could really feel the missing people.

Supposedly once Joe gets his current projects out of the way (a couple of comics, a film, and a Netflix series) he's planning on writing a B5 motion picture "reboot". Apparently, Warners gave him the film rights as part of his contract with them - even though they own everything else about B5 lock stock. JMS has his own production studio now (StudioJMS) so there's a chance it could happen.

Have you seen all the Babylon 5 spinoff stuff? Personally I'm not that excited about seeing JMS go all George Lucas on B5. ;)
