Back after a LOOOONG break; couple of questions

Greetings all!

I've been along for the ride since early Premium Beta and enjoyed the experience. During the beta for Horizons I essentially put the game down after I realized that my 3 year old Titan GPU wouldn't be able to support DK2 play with reasonably high settings. So, I put it down with a view to coming back later.

When Nvidia releases Pascal cards I'll upgrade and be back, but likely not before then. I believe this'll be some time this "summer" whatever that means - perhaps July-August timeframe.

So, I'm curious: a long time back there was talk of NPCs with "faces" joining the fray. There was also talk of a character creator. And more involved/chained missions. Any idea when any of this will arrive - roughly? This year? Next year? I kinda sorta miss the game, but I'm reluctant to take the plunge until I have better HW and/or more content to fool around with.

2.1 is proving to be a mammoth update.

Game performance has not been improved. E still makes no use of good hardware. There is not ETA on fixing performance issues.

2.1 (due in a few weeks, beta starting in about a week) includes a new mission system with faces for the NPCs giving the missions. I think it's not until 2.2 or 2.3 (ie later in the year) that creating your own face is planned to be released.

I think by the time you have a pascal card, 2.2 will be out or very close to it.
