Greetings fellow CMDRs and comrades,
For months have I been disabled to roam the stars due to unfortunates software issues. (BringEDtoLinuxalready*cough)
Now troublesome software has found its way to my PC again and just as 2.2 rolls out I am not sure if I mean EDLaunch or my operating system. But cynical jokes aside, I was very pleased to see that the forum changed but little. Filled with frustration, anger and incredible talented game designers that never got their chance to partake in Frontier's decision making processes.
Having fired up ED for both the first and last time in 2.1 yesterday, finding my ASP Explorer parked away as I somehow eons ago had successfully landed my SCV, the warm feelings that the combination of this forum and a respawn screen that was cast upon me by non-existent driving skills, pushed me I the happiest flashback.
Yes my dear, English sentences can become that long.
Now, much new stuff is around, about which there is so many negativity to be read. Nevertheless, having delivered my first tons of coffee to praise a past away grandpa (what an awesome move by frontier), I am more than eager to venture into the unknown mechanics of Engineers and Guardians. I have no goals to breach and thus cannot be underwhelmed by the machinery of progress.
Onwards!
(And should everything fail, people probalby will still like my screenshots)
