Back from hiatus: Have Guardian Tech requirements or mat drops changed since 3.1?

I checked Inara.cz for requirements, but I'm not sure if they are the same as always.

I remember it was tough to get the Epsilon data, all other materials are not that bad to collect.
Still the same places to farm like Guardian sites or there are more places?

Figured that if I wait half a year maybe the content will be more accessible now?

Thanks for the info.

It was never hard to begin with. People just got themselves in some kind of beserk n complain mode before they even tried, or liked to complain while doing it because all they could think of was their unlock and doing something else...
I unlocked two of the fighters just because I could. I don't even need them.

This, its like the experimentals don't work on NPC's myth its just inaccurate forum cobblers become "truth" through constant repetition by people who haven't done it.

If you were talking about the original requirements where it took more than 15 or so blueprints to unlock a single guardian type module, then that certainly changed sometime after 3.1 where now it's only 1 or 2 blueprints required to unlock each type of module. Also the guardian FSD booster has been well received if you hadn't tried it out.

Exactly, the forum cobblers/naysayers train sometimes affected bystanders to such an extent that they may have come to perceive ED as such a limited and "abandoned" game" with lazy or inferior developers , where a hilarious example is I recall some were looking forward to X4's release as "a game (and massive sim world) just like ED, but better". Well we've seen the numbers now months later as folks quietly returned to ED from X4, and where some are maybe finally realizing how truly ahead of the curve and bar-setting ED's accomplishments were and are, and to stop taking these ED&FD-bashing trolls seriously.

Just unlocked most of the Guardian stuff for an alt. Took about a day (elapsed) of wandering around collecting Guardian stuff - and much of that was collecting the rare cargo from space as it's quite spread out. I guess you'd need to double that to unlock everything.

Note: I didn't spend half the day complaining on here about how hard it is, and how fdev don't respect my time, so if you plan on doing that then you should double again :)
