As some of you might remember, I've been to Ishtar before. Cmdr Antarxis and I have visited this place during at the early stage of the AGE expedition.

A long time have passed since then. After the expedition concluded, I did some Bubble activities, bought Krait Phantom, engineer it and went to the Black again to reach 3 kylies below and above the plain. And then I accidentally died in one of thousands neutron star jets I used for boosting my FSD. Then I sort of lost interest and quit flying for several months.

Now I'm back. With no particular goal in mind, I decided to go back to Ishtar and look around for interesting stuff. Maybe I'll finally find something worth creating a POI? My Phantom "Orphaned Starchild" is equipped with fuel and repair limpets so I can help fellow commanders in case of troubles near Ishtar. :)

What was Ishtar again... Oh yeah, now I remember.
Most of that area is now part of the Conduit region, which doesn't have much discovered on the Codex yet. If you'll be spending time there, I'd recommend keeping an eye out for NSPs (Notable Stellar Phenomena) too: it would be interesting to see if there are more than just anemones and crystalline shards out there.
Oh, and a small part of it is in the Outer Arm region, and the exact same applies to that one too.

The problem is: I'm not really good in finding NSPs. During over 230 kylies I've done since they started to appear, I found them only twice. In both cases they were located very close to the Bubble and I found them during first several kylies from the start. Are there any conditions to find them? Specific star classes or smth?

Well, first, for spotting them: it's easier to notice them on the left panel, under Navigation, than it is on the FSS barcode.
As for finding them: it depends on what kind of life there is in the region. Since none have been found in those two regions yet, who knows? They tend to spawn under specific criteria (mostly) listed on the Codex, and often (but not always) located in specific areas of space. But all that helps is that if you find one, then take a good look around, and you should find more.
Oh, and planetary nebulae are good places to check... but I don't know of any around those parts.

Alright. I'll try to start to use the Codex, never have done it before. Hopefully will find something interesting.

BaldEagle, I'm going to spend quite a time here. With your pace you would be able to circumnavigate the Galaxy twice and then reach Ishtar to meet me. ;)

No worries. I trim it regularly using neutron jet cones.

Yesterday I've found my first biological site in Ishtar. I guess it's nothing special, isn't it?

Ah - that explains the unique styling ;)
I haven't found a bio site in weeks - some regions just don't seem to have many/any :(
