(Backer Beta) Is it still possible to change the CMDR name. How?

Hello. I'm a Beta Backer of ED. Not a heavy player here; mostly trading and exploring the Galaxy.
I still only have two ships. An Imperial clipper and a Python.
I don't want to start all over again. I'm still grinding for a Anaconda, to go to Sag A.

I wanted to change CMDR BACKER ***** to a nickname.

The page https://support.orerve.net/http/user/loginform doesn't allow to do it anymore.

Is there another / new way to do it?

Well contact support I guess? The only other option would be clear the save.

Clear save or rebuy the game. Either way you'd have to "start all over again". Sorry.

I have nothing useful to add except to say that I'd really like to see a function to change your name in the game without starting again. Bounties can still follow you and you could restrict name changes somehow but I'd still like it.

I know it's not exactly high on the list but there you go.
