Has anyone met their own backer named NPC?

But I put the wifelet's name in (with her blessing) and have the wonderful excuse that I need to play until I find her

Yes, I did a few days ago after playing since Gamma (so quite a while!). Apparently, an Expert rated Cobra, mining rings.

I had been keeping an eye out for mine since gamma and not a sign. Then last night I dropped in on a USS to find four ships, one of them an Anaconda with a Master rating.

I smiled when I noticed the Anaconda was being piloted by my named NPC. Seconds later my NPC and his buddies opened up on me and I had to boost and runaway! My very own creation turned on me and chased me off with my tail between my legs.

I did after 1h in solo - was really surprised about it.

Yep, I did about a week ago, he was a harmless hauler

I've also seen a variation of the name on another NPC

and a further variation being used as three different station names

(I don't know if that's just coincidence though.)

Hah. I like the way you think. Now why didn't I think of that? Apparently my surname in real life has cropped up a couple of times (my friends have spotted him) - but somehow I haven't seen him myself! First instance was mining at a RES in a Python - second as a lowly Sidewinder - guess he got ganked.
