Wow!
I feel like an idiot for totally not knowing about the Kickstarter at all, then happily buying in at the 150 beta level... When if i had just got out from under my rock a few weeks earlier, i could've paid less and received much more lifetime benefits!
(Of course i am being sarcastic to prove a point).
I am happy with my purchase, and ecstatic as to my expectations being blown away.
I am perfectly fine with people who put money into the game (before it was a game) getting all of their promises met, as they should be rewarded for their faith.
But i (and most likely some others) may find it offensive to know or be reminded that simply because we were late a few weeks, or couldn't afford to, that the rewards are completely unfair in-game advantages.
I.e. I don't mind if you get a free stock Cobra as your ship replacement as opposed to the Sidewinder.
But i would find it hard to believe that Frontier would compound rewards to allow for less risk and more rewards to the luckily informed few.
I.e. Like get a stock Cobra, and credits, and lifetime insurance discount, and...
(Again, these are just examples to prove an uninformed point)
In light that the 'Mercenary Pack' details are even now slightly unclear, is there a clearly defined list of all rewards for all backers, so we all know what to expect?
Betas in other games have tried this reward type system, and in every single case, has always undelivered on it.
I know Frontier would *NEVER* underdeliver on anything, but if the expectations on exactly are what to be delivered aren't well defined... Then how can you deliver on anything?
Again, not a rant, but a request for informed clarification, please.
