The real issue is that 80% of the end playerbase won't have these benefits at all. Nothing that affects gameplay in such a way should have been in the game. There shouldn't be free Eagles either. I just don't get why people need or want benefits that other players can't get?

Never understood it - if I could give away my cheaper insurance and Freagle then I would, happily.

Completely irrelevant. It doesn't matter whether these benefits were a good thing or a bad thing in the first place, that debate is over. What matters is that something was promised, marketed and then taken away. That's why this is totally unacceptable.

I don't feel betrayed. In fact I backed this game before this offer and I did it on the basis I would NOT get special privileges. So I'd ask we get rid of such silly advantages altogether (otherwise lawsuit, lol).

1st) Eagles are a reward for throwing some extra pennies FD's way, also kickstarter backers of different ranks get Cobras to start with, it's a reward for giving ED a bit of extra money.

2) Any other player could of got this reward, they simply needed to invest money into the development of the game. They did not want to do this, no reward, others that did, have a cookie. *bites cookie* ;)
