Is there a recommended process for backing up our control bindings before 2.3 drops? I do use Mcdee.net but will we be able to restore the backups that way or will it entail a manual re entering of all the settings? Or will it just leave our current settings intact?

The beta didn't have problems importing controls; there may be the odd issue with a single axis inverting, but by and large everything should be intact. If you're having doubts, just copy your custom.binds somewhere safe.

If the Beta is any guide, existing Keybinds are taken over.
The main issue will likely be setting up all the new Control Bindings (in Beta, they appeared all Empty/Undefined by default - meaning your 1st Trip into Holo-Me, Vanity Cam or MultiCrew will leave you paralyzed and unable to do virtually anything).
Prepare for lots of trips into the Control Options to get it all setup. Alot of trips.
