Reminds me of a recent experience with my alt. I had just picked up something from a surface salvage mission and noticed a contact. Checked it to find it was some palladium which I could use for a 'source 6 tonnes of palladium' mission. I'm flying an Adder and decide to be lazy and just scoop it up with my ship (yes you can do it but it's not easy). I've lined up and opened my scoop and coming in low when 3 skimmers appear like startled pheasants and boom, shields down sparks all over and taking damage. I did manage to survive that encounter and needless to say I later collected the palladium with my SRV.

Skimmers collisions are so OP, that i demand a skimmer launcher on my Python...
