Not sure why something so simple appears be so confusing.
Named my ship. Left the ID tag as it is.
Bought the "Boundary" nameplate/ID plate/whatever while the update was downloading.
Didn't see any sign of it being present in the game.
Noticed that it was different to all the other nameplates so I decided to buy the "Explorer" nameplates as well.
Didn't see any sign of that appearing in the game either.
As of about 10 minutes ago, I can now see the "boundary" tag as an option for ship name slots AND ship ID slots but it only displays the ship ID. NOT the name.
Even when it's being used in the ship name slot.
I assume there's some kind of backlog and the Explorer nameplates will also appear sooner or later, thus allowing me to actually apply the NAME of my ship to the hull, rather than the ID tag.
Even so, if the "Boundary" set will only ever allow you to display the ID tag, rather than the ship's actual name, that would mean there's no way of getting an un-embelished name printed on the side of your ship cos even the "Practical" set has borders and patterns.
Would it not have been simpler if each "pack" contained, say, 3 designs for the name and 1 for the ID tag, all with the same theme? [where is it]
