BAFTA To Host David Braben Tribute Event

BAFTA and GamesIndustry.biz have joined forces to present an event focusing on the career of Frontier’s chairman David Braben. The event will take place on the evening of 14th September 2009 at the BAFTA headquarters in London, and will chart David's career as the release of the ground-breaking 3D space trading / combat game Elite reaches its 25th Anniversary.

A Life in Videogames: David Braben is part of a special strand of BAFTA events celebrating the life and work of extraordinary individuals within the videogames industry.
