PvP Baiting Griefers

They seem to be around 550 to 575 as far as I can see when they chase me. To escape safely, a small ship with a speed of over 600 is necessary. A small ship is harder to hit with the fixed weapons they use. Previously, I used a Sidewinder with a speed of about 610. I could shoot them with my pulse lasers, then run away. I think the Imperial Eagle is much better, but you have to engineer everything for light weight to get the speed and carry weapons. For some reason, the I.I. is much better at interdicting. I found it hard to win with the SW, but I have 100% success with the I.I.

I have a fast Sidewinder that I use for PvE bounty hunting, when I feel the need for some shooting. The thing I like about the Sidey is that it's not to weight sensitive with enhanced thrusters.

@op

i have done this a bit using a i courier. also shooting wanted commanders as they leave or enter stations.

its def a lot of fun.

there is a wing which focuses on this - cobra kai.

As you probably know, most of the regular griefers are in Maia at the moment. I took a fully engineered (quite fast) Imperial Eagle down there to give a bit of retribution to any that I saw griefing; however, it was difficult to figure out whether they were behaving themselves or not. As I've been there for a few days, maybe they know that I'm nothing but a nuisance, so they left me alone, and I didn't see any real evidence of their griefing. I couldn't figure out who to deal with, so I hatched a brilliant plan.

I switched accounts and went and got one of my other ships with no weapons and flew it around in supercruise. It didn't take more than a couple of minutes before I got a bite. One of the regulars in a FAS interdicted me, so I let him blow me up (not that I had a choice, but it was expected), which put me back in the station where my Imperial Eagle was waiting in my other account.

Back in my I.I.,I must have interdicted this guy about 10 times before I got " mate!", and I got him many times after that. I've never laughed so much. I could hardly control my ship for laughing. He had absolutely no chance of catching me. I had to fly slow to let him think he had a chance. After a while his mates started interdicting me, which was even better. It was quite exiting being interdicted and chased by as many as four at once of these very experienced PvPers. They hardly landed a shot, though I got blown up once when I boosted into a FAS trying to put some mines in his face. I need to practice that a bit.

I've got 4 accounts at the moment, so plenty more opportunities to bait them. I can also use a different account to attack them because three accounts have all engineers at level 5.

As I said, before, there's more than one way to get retribution. This is much better than going there with a battleship and getting it handed back to you in pieces with a big bill. I've got enough money for 10,000 rebuys, so I should be able to keep going for a while.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a swarm of such ships down there to harass them.

Yepp, thats how it should be done. In a smart way.
