Engineers Balancing horrible

What the Hell went wrong with the balancing???

Since the Update, I can't survive in a REZ longer than a minute cause with attacking a single Wanted NPC, all Ships are against me and blow me to bits.
I have a fully upgraded Vulture and before the Update there wasnt any problem..and now i feel i'm back in a Sidewinder...

Since i'm not a Forum Crawler, can anybody explain to me what went wrong..?

IT JUST SUCKS!!

Conflict zones seem more like a wing content now. Just grab one of your buddies and no big deal.

Nothing went wrong, the ai did not present enough challenge, you could previously face roll them in your sleep. Adjust and fly in lower level res sites or as already suggested wing up. Sites like haz res were never intended to be flown by solo players in mid level ships, however, fwiw, Nav beacon's are decent places to find targets again.

Along with the ai changes that were much needed, it appears there may be a couple of bugs with the new engineers mods turning some ai config's into killing machines, if that turns out to be the case they will be addressed in due course. However, dont expect the higher level ai to revert to pre 2.1, there will be some adjustments to low mid range ai and higher level ai are to get adaptive routines so they are not so predictable.

I agree that AI should have been improved. But not that way.

After more than 1700 hours of game play my combat rank is deadly and now 99% of NPCs of entire galaxy are deadly or elite with heavy modded ships and guns. Where are the newbies or mid skilled ones? Very unrealistic and frustrating.
Big ships should be a reward for hard work, but now its worth nothing as a single NPC eagle can kill an anaconda shield (A rated with 2x shield booster) in one single face to face pass. Why play a lot to get a big ship if the initial ones are much better now?

mmm well I agree with DeadMarsh, I went to locate some data modules by scanning a Nav beacon as instructed in mission brief. I had been there 20s if that in my Cobra MkIV when a NPC Viper appeared out of nowhere disabled my engines with about 5s and destroyed me about 15 seconds later. The balancing is not out of whack it doesnt exist as far as I can make out

I have no Problems I spend many hours in high intesity RES without Trouble! Not sure what your Problem is but unless you are hostile to the Powerplay faction in that System ships do not engage you unless you have Cargo! So withotu Cargo you can pick your fights.. People with bad doghfighting skills should take a Close look at opponents combat Rating! To see what they can handle...

I fly an FAS and I can take all ranks - I find it actually way easier now that feds are there Shooting at my Prey with me :( wish they were not there!

SOme Basics: put 4 pips into Systems to boost your shield strength under heavy fire - it mulitplies your shield power by 2.5 also get Point defense preferable 2 or an ECm to be safe against shild killer torpedoes...

REZ are very peaceful and doable when you pick your fights and do everything right.

Sorry, but when you attack ONE (wanted) enemy everything should be fine.
I think one of those things went wrong:

-you had cargo, got scanned and pirates attacked you.
-you accidentally hit a clean target with your weapons, got wanted and police attacked you
-you are pledged to a power and hostile power (wings) attacked you.
-you had a high bounty on your head and bounty hunters/police attacked you after scan

as I said, its perfectly doable when you dont try to fight against everyone (or high ranked wings) or are a really wanted criminal.

EDIT: ninjad by dread lord ;)
