General / Off-Topic Bald Eagles

Living in the UK we don't get to see Bald Eagles never mind watching two eggs hatch very soon live, but watching these amazing adult Bald Eagles in their nest live passes my time when flying. It amazes me how intelligent these birds are in their nesting routine and the bond these to Eagles have. Thought i would share the hatching to you all as it is occuring over Xmas.

I been glued to this live feed since i came across it and was stunned by the intelligence of these Eagles. I now fully understand why the bald eagle was adopted as the national bird / symbol of the United States of America.

Yes, the size of the brain is not representative of the intelligence

When I was in my teens and a rock climber in the mountains of North Wales I watched a certain area grow from a single to around a dozen pairs of nesting Peregrine Falcons. Climbers were tolerated in the otherwise restricted area because we provided regular photographic updates and information on what we saw and were interested in preserving the local environment.

My family has been watching the SWFL eagle cam for a few years now, we look forward to it every season.

E10 hatched today, and the other egg has a pip so it wont be long before we have two eaglets in the nest!

Two chicks arrived a week+ ago, watched one as it hatched during xmas holidays. Adults are bringing sooooo much meat to the nest the little things are getting stuffed everyday, just look at the nest it's FULL of fish and what looks like a rabbit or a cat bottom left.
