Horizons Barnacle Symbol

This may be an old thread resurrected, but I just realized something while jumping back from Pleiades Sector KC-U B3-1 System (Which has an Ammonia World in it) that the Pleiades Nebula when viewed from the correct orientation, looks almost exactly like the symbol on the Barnacles.

I don't know if this has been brought up or discovered before since the Thargoid arrival, but it just occurred to me today like a flash when I was out looking for Thargoids to observe.

Here's a screenshot I took. If this is old news or old hat, I apologize, but I felt I wanted to share my findings in case it hadn't been caught before for whatever reason.

** Edit: Also, I am aware the marks are also on Thargoid ships if you zoom close enough to see them.

Until now everyone were sure that symbol is Barnard's loop, but when you show this picture I am not sure anymore. It make sense that they changed look of this nebulay.

So now that you know you have to look at it from a certain direction, there is basically two directions where the observer has looked from. Did somebody try to plot a possible Alien Stargazer LoS?
