Barnyard Pack

This one would have the theme of wild animals ancestral or related to those domesticated species you might find in a modern American barnyard.

While the animals themself arnt bad, i agree that i rather just have some normal domestic animals.
Most if not all of these animals are very unfit for a petting zoo/domestic animal section, which is the whole point of wanting these animals innthe first place.
Imo the wild part of the water buffalo was a mistake and the same goes for most other "we look like a common domestic species but actually arnt" animals like junglefowl for example.

I kinda like the concept. Initially I thought the list would be another domestic species pack but this is more interesting IMO (I have little desire for domesticates)… It’d need a different name though, since ‘barnyard’ is misleading. Also, I’d add vicuña or guanaco and wild or ocellated turkey for some new world representation.

Tauros cattle! I applaud you for choosing them ❤️

I love the concept and would be very happy with it! Like ElectricMonk said, it would need a different name.
"Ancestor pack" perhaps.

Some notes about the species selection:

  • Tauros cattle to represent cows: 100/10, yes.
  • Przewalski horse to represent horses: as the only wild horse species left, absolutely.
  • Mouflon to represent sheep: yes, love them (but they are from Europe, not Asia)
  • Wild goats aka Bezoar / Sindh ibex to represent goats: I get the choice, but they are extremely similar to the in game Alpine ibex. Instead, I would choose something more distinct from the ibex and go with a Markhor, the world's largest species of wild goat.
  • Wild boar to represent pigs: absolutely.
  • African wild donkey to represent donkeys: yes, they're beautiful.
  • Red junglefowl to represent poultry: I am fine with this, but I can also understand the desire for new world representation through for instance the Ocellated turkey.
  • African wildcat to represent cats: Yes, the game's first small cat, I'm all for.

African wildcat should get the boot imo.
Theres only obe documented holding in russia, while the very similar european wild cat is in over 140 different EAZA zoos and european representation is much more needed.
