Hopefully going to use this thread as a little database of new locations people have found. I used to enjoy base jumping on mount neverest with an SRV and climbing the un-climbable mountains within horizons but with so much unexplored in odyssey its difficult to know where to look so has anyone found any good locations, large mountains, deep canyons to mess around with SRVs and on foot.

Interesting that this thread was the number one recommendation from my search engine when I searched for "elite dangerous Odyssey base jumping locations"
For noobs like me, many of the know locations for base jumping are no longer relevant with Odyssey as coordinates have changed as well as terrain generation.
I'm still looking for new locations myself.
Please post here if you found some cool ones.
Obviously, planets with giant craters or "crackled" surfaces are good candidates but have nothing particular in general.

I just did the main Callisto crater and had a blast! In VR of course.
First time I do premium repairs while free-falling.
I ended up being sloppy on repairs and destroyed my SRV in one of the smaller crater inside the main one
Will try to find back one that I really enjoyed outside the Bubble and post it your other thread.
Also first time I see those patterns on a body surface, for a second, I thought I had discovered something...

Thinking more about this another place that's quite, ahem, "interesting" for base jumping is Grover Platform in Tucanae Sector AA-Z b0. Again, I’ll leave it as a surprise as to why.

I didn't check the forums before leaving :-/
I went to the Devil's Tower and had a blast going down and up.
I landed my SRV on a departing ship so I also experienced a long free-fall from the top
I like the smaller mountains on the way down, makes for interesting bounces.
