Basic Moving Parts

Hello Planetcoasters [heart]

I know that this is basically a suggestion. Nevertheless I would love to have a discussion about this and that is why I did not post it over in the Suggestions Forum. I want to know if you see a need in this or if you would not use something like this at all.

Enough talk, lets get straight to the point.

What I often miss in game is a triggerable object which moves and which can be built on. If you know Minecraft for example the closest thing to what I mean would be the sticky piston. The possibilities in my opinion would be endless. I can imagine walls or roofs that move together, custom doors or pop up statues and things. If you could mess around with speed or elevation height even better.

Well my thought does not end here. I would imagine that a rotating Platform, where you can attach things on to it, would also be of great help. Imagine Helicopters, Mills, Blades and more. Again messing around with the objects speed or turning direction would be a great addition.

I think the most freedom would give the Portal Wall Tile (if you are not familiar with it here is a reference)

This in my opinion would give me the most possibilities.

Now I would like to know what you think about this. Would you like to see something like this in game? What this be possible? What do you think?

I'm not a 3D designer so I don't know much about animating, but I think what your asking for will be possible with UGC. However, for those who are not good at making UGC (like myself) I have suggested a similar idea:
