Bast CG Within Arms Reach <800k to go

Unfortunately I can't change the title of the other thread to represent the good news but thanks to a stellar effort from the small group of commanders over the last few days this goal is now likely to be met!

If everyone pledged ships just over a 1000 tonnes each we will reach the 2.5m goal.

Anyone who has not pledged yet it's not too late, 1,500 tonnes will currently get you into the top 40% ~(and net you 5m if the last 'impossible' bounty hunting CG was anything to go by)

Buy Pcells from Anlave or LHS 155 for 400cr a tonne profit, or smuggle in illegal "medicines" for more!

Come on, let's get this done!

Working on it in between the fortification grind. Gotta wonder what a system with a 450k population does with 2.5 million tons of medicine, though. Do they bathe in it? Even then, they'd need to use swimming pools rather than mere bathtubs to go through it all!

Great! Who did this? This afternoon it was still more than a million..

Tomorrow and the next day I'll bring in combined 10k. Can't get myself to grind more than that, but I hope it helps.

For those in small ships, every little counts!

1) Every delivery helps us get to the goal.
2) You get an (estimated) reward of >100K just for delivering one load of basic medicine. That helps if you're a newbie in a sidewinder (been there myself, helped pay for my Cobra).
3) You can probably get into the top 70% for a 2M (estimated) reward. That probably takes just a couple hundred tons, if that. Good money for a Cobra/Adder (70% CG rewards paid for my Courier).
4) The hardcore traders will love you! The bigger the total number of players, the more 'spaces' there are for the hardcore players to get their 40%, 15% and 5% rewards (help me buy a Python... please!)

Just don't ask why 'performance enhancers' count for just as much as basic meds. I guess a few people in Bast are deciding that it's the end of the world, so they may as well go out with a bang (ooh, err, missus!)

Great to see a CG that was (IMO) set up to fail, be turned around and succeed. I wonder if Frontier have a plan for what happens if the plague is stopped in a system! :)

And here was me thinking "Performance Enhancers" enhanced the performance of the anti plague drugs, thus making them vital for the CG :)

They will give it the "Lavigny-Duval treatment." Sorry CG contributors! You failed again!

By chance, was the first time because you thought you'd been wrong about something, but weren't?

Actually it was earlier this week, thinking that my D-rated, armed trader (A clipper) could out-tank and fight a Deadly-rated Anaconda. It was a foolish thing to try, and it turns out that even with pip management, he still took my shields down before I spaced the poor pirate.
