To get the little trigger sequence working:
-Place ride, select everything and delete it, than "undo" the deletion - voila, triggers should work fine!!!
It is a bit wonky since placing parts on that ride was really hard, but some of you might might enjoy it....
You should be able to find by searching for "Death Star" or use the number C2Q5CT523.
