Battlefield 6

Haha not really, it went BF1 then BF5, I'm fair certain BF6 will have sone daft scheme also in its numbering or whatever.

BF1 was WW1, BF2 was Vietnam?, BF3 was orange armpit BF, BF4 was the modern one with collapsible bujilding, then BF1 again bc 1st WW, then BF 5 for daughters to play and now is BF6.

Battlefield 2 was the first one I played, then 3 and 4. Haven't bothered with 1 or 5 or the others. If this is bigger maps and more players it might be worth a go.
My reaction times won't be what they used to be though.

Battlefield bad company 2 was when I started with the BF franchise...especially with the Vietnam add on. There was an interim small game released just before BF3...Battlefield 1943, which was one of the best games I ever played. It was a capture the flag type of thing, multiplayer only with 3 islands you played in rotation playing as alternatively Japanese or US marines. It had planes, tanks, jeeps, carriers, landing craft and a fixed weapon loadout for 3 main classes...fantastic game. Xbox only though if I remember rightly.

Does anyone remember Novalogic Delta force Joint ops You could have 150 players when we had slow connections. Its still possible to set up server u just need the players to come back.

Battlefield 5 was a hot mess in a number of categories. I think I will passing on all future BF titles.

I feel the same. Whatever is wrong with the franchise management has put me right off playing any further titles. Shame because I'd always liked the series in general but it has been going downhill for some time. BF1 was a decent game though that bucked the trend, had high hopes for BF5 which turned into a roadside dog egg and remains so to this day despite much effort.

Jorgensen was let go so I guess there is a chance to have more sensible design and world building. All they would have needed to do to have their daughters play is make an alternative history/futuristic setting. Not that their daughters can't play with male avatars - I play with females all the time.
