Battles are too easy.

One man's too easy is another's too hard...

Personally I think it's somewhere about right now, though I would appreciate not having to fight Hop, Ambient Muesli and friends every time I'm at a RES. More lives than a bloody cat that lot.

I think the Vulture makes the game a lot easier for combat.
I refuse to use one now, I stick with Eagles, Vipers and Diamond Backs (both types) - I find I can still do what I need to, but it is no longer a cake walk.

This! If 50% say its too easy and 50% say its too hard, then its right!

P.S. I asked an expert on how to set the temperature right (in a public room), he said "If you ask them dont expect to hear its o.k., if 50% say its too hot and 50% say its too cold, then its right!..... But be prepared they will continue to ask you to change it ...!

I'm talking about NPC ships, obviously.

I'm at the combat rank of competent right now.

I find this to be an odd question because does it matter what rank you are? Let us say that you need 1000 kills to get to competent - are you really going to be more skilled at 1200 kills? There comes a point where you've killed enough AI that you're really not going to get any better at it.
