The let's plays I've seen with this have gotten me interested. I may have to buy this.

Also, I really should finish the series. I think I stopped at the end of season 2. lol.

Maybe just my impressions from the trailer, but it looks like XCOM style tactics in space. Although I don't quite understand if it's turn based or just active pause feature. I'm intrigued anyway

Turn based, after each turn you see it happen in 'real time', but its just to visualize the turns.

You issue some orders, the game unpauses and a small amount of time passes and your orders are carried out. During that time you have no control over anything. Then the game pauses and you can plant the next 10 seconds o whatever the time period is.

I watched a few videos and streams of this and although its interesting to watch someone play I have next to no interest in getting it myself as I think it I would find it frustrating.
