Battlestar Galactica Play Style - Just for fun

Battlestar Galactica Play Style

Okay, so this is just for a bit of fun. A non-negativity thread.
Anyone as enthusiastic about BSG as me will get it, others wont – Go watch BSG – seriously you haven’t seen it? GO GO GO

· If another CMDR randomly messages you asking “Hey whats up today?” or similar, then you must reply “Not much, just looking for the 13th colony”
· You can only spend 33 minutes in each system and then you have to move on.
· If you meet another CMDR you have to roll side to side a few times to say hi.
· You MUST boost out of every station.
· Attempt to push a wing mate back to a station
· Refer to new players as Nuggets
· Every landing should be a combat landing. Full speed and skid to a stop.
· Refer to your scanner as DRADIS. (Mainly to annoy your wing mates)
· Destroy a passenger ship but feel guilty about it.
· Attempt to stealth your way in to a conflict zone and use the debug camera to snap photos. Get out unseen and unharmed.
· When any new player appears on the scanner you have to shout “Contact”
· Fight NPCs in asteroid fields and refer to them as SCAR.
· Finally (for now) re-enact the Battle of Ragnar Anchorage. Several players wait outside as station ready to attack. An Asp must go scout and see how many and where they are then report back to those waiting in the station. Then, an Anaconda (BSG) must go out first and hold off the enemy players whilst the rest of the players in the station attempt to get out and jump to the next system.

I'd like to add that you should use the 'Frak' liberally and whenever possible to fit it into a sentance.
For example, Frak this my frakking ship is fraked lets get the frak out of here before we're proper frakked.

Well, there is a ban on AI in the universe - so that fits...
If we think someone's a cylon we call them a toaster over the comms (even though they look human)
Call out "Set condition one throughout the ship" when entering a combat zone

I completely missed BSG when it was on TV. I watched the mini-series just before Christmas and became hooked! Bought myself the blu-ray box set for Christmas, and am now in season 4.5. The writing, music, and characterisations - awesome.

So yeah - great suggestion OP!

In think bsg is one of the few Scifi series I have not seen.. Gonna have to check it out

I really miss star gate tho, although universe was horrible except for like the last 5ish episodes, where I was like "this is the star gate I remember:)"... Then cancelled :(
