I personally think its a great idea, however FD might be able to do something better! who knows
I could have swon I'd already seen that in some ED trailer, but I clearly got my signals crossed with a clip from Eve Valkyrie.
Nice idea though for the future, when capital ship ferrying is implemented. Launching from such a ship in a launch tube would really make you feel like a BSG viper pilot.
.. for the launch duration at least, until you realize you aren't starbuck, and end up as scattered debris in the raging carnage outside the carrier.

I know this would be going back to the old days of Elite (remember the station launch?) But it would be great to have the odd station do Catapult-Tube Launches? - Just imagine how it could look, just like the remake BSG !
Looking at the cap ship trailer you see the imperial fighters being released by the ship maybe FD is looking into it who knows.
